Below is a current list of resources, however, if there is another need we may consider helping, just ask:
- We have partnered with Highland School District and have sack lunches at the church for children.
- We have partnered with Serve 6.8 and the Nunn telephone company and the Highland School District. Between the three of us, internet service is provided to families for schooling purposes.
- We have partnered with Highland School District and are providing electronic devices for students who need them in order to school at home.
- We have provided a hotspot in the church parking lot as well as the Nunn Telephone Company has provided a hotspot for internet services again for kids to access school assignments.
- Hunger – The church has a stockpile of food in the food pantry as well as essential care products to include diapers, wipes, cleaning supplies, etc. Additionally we are coordinating with Serve 6.8 for helping the greater northern Colorado region.
- Care for the Elderly – We have a list of individuals who are checked on daily via phone, or e-mail to include addressing shopping, or other needs they have while they remain at home. Additionally we are coordinating with Serve 6.8 for helping the greater northern Colorado region.
- Care for those who are quarantined or living alone - We have a list of individuals who are checked on daily via phone, or e-mail to include addressing shopping, or other needs they have while they remain at home. Additionally we are coordinating with Serve 6.8 for helping the greater northern Colorado region.
- Housing Insecurity – We have designated funds to assist with rent or mortgage gaps. Additionally we are coordinating with Serve 6.8 for helping the greater northern Colorado region.
- Homelessness – We refer individuals to the shelters in Fort Collins.
- Education of Children – The Church hosts a home-school group which now utilizes zoom. Our homework club to support parents and kids with homework is now utilizing zoom. We have numerous home-school families and contacts. We would like to offer a statewide support and assistance program for parents and daycare workers who now find themselves homeschooling and feeling somewhat lost.
- Spiritual Needs of Congregation – Our church continues to stream on Facebook as well as YouTube. E-mails and interactions over Facebook continue with additional volunteers assisting via Facebook to ensure outreach and personal touch. Youth are meeting over zoom with various virtual interactive activities and games to keep youth engaged and reached. Children have some virtual interactive activities and games encouraged through video capture.
- Staying connected while social distancing. The outreach team is calling, texting or interacting over Facebook with church and community members to ensure all of the community is being contacted and monitored for whatever need which may arise.
- The church offers in person pastoral care to pray with individuals whether at home or at the hospital fill out the contact form and we will coordinate a visit.
- We offer Corporate Clergy or Chaplain support for corporations and their employees in the area.
