Camel: the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,

Scene 3: Angels
Katelyn: Well fellow angels, the prophesies are starting to be fulfilled, and the one in Issaiah was just fulfilled. “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold a Virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” (Issaiah 7:14)
Rayln: And by the way, Immanuel means God with Us. I learned something in angel school.
Miss Alyssa: I’m so excited! History is unfolding before our very eyes!
Emma: Must I also mention, “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been of old, from everlasting.” (Micha 5:2)
Aven: Hey that’s the prophesy in Micha. It is amazing how someone so important can come from the middle of nowhere, kind of like Carr.
Miss Alyssa: You can go anywhere from somewhere.
Emma: Speaking of somewhere in the middle of nowhere, lets take a look at the hills of Bethlehem.
Scene 4: Shepherds
Freida: Bethlehem is soooo boring.
Natalie: I agree.
Hans: No, it isn’t

Makayla: "This whole yarn business is why the sheep and I have a working relationship, not a friendship. They think they're giving me wool, but I see a whole flock of winter sweaters waiting to happen".
Oscar: Maybe you could crochet me another pair of pants. The ones you made last week shrunk.
Natalie: No! You grew.
Jenna: Sheep are so unpredictable. speaking of which there they go.

Camel: After the angel…
Donkey: I get to tell this part I was there first-hand. After the angel told Mary the good Cesar Agustus being the “genius” he was decided it was a good idea to make her travel all of the way to Bethlehem. And guess who she rode…
Camel: who?
Donkey: Clearly me, my back is still recovering.
Camel: I don’t know why they chose a donkey instead of a camel. Camels are far superior to donkeys……………….. I even have two airbags.
Donkey: Well donkeys are better and can turn on a dime.
Camel: Donkeys are stubborn.
DJ: Donkeys are not stubborn,…………….. and you can’t change my mind.
Donkey: No donkeys are powerful. If I don’t want to move I don’t. See ……………..power.
Camel: I am sure Joseph appreciated that.
Scene 6: Shepherds Discussing Prophecy
Makayla-Shepherd: I was thinking about our job, being shepherds, which got me thinking about King David. Think about, he was from Bethlehem watching sheep, and he defeated Goliath and became king.
Lyla-Shepherd: History is so important.
Oscar-Shepherd: Well, when I was reading Issiah I was so confused because it said: And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
Royce-Shepherd: It confused me too. I don’t think it is normal for branches to be growing out of people. More or less rods sticking out from those branches.
Jenna-Shepherd: No branches are growing out of anyone. It is a prophesy.
Freida-Shepherd: What does that mean.
Lyla shepherd: That particular prophesy means This "Branch" is the new king, a descendant of Jesse, who was David’s father. This new king will be a source of new life and restoration, and this new leader will be a source of hope and will establish a kingdom of peace and justice.
Hans-Shepherd: So, when will this new king come?
Freida: That is for God to know and for us to find out.
Camel: I think they will find out very soon.
Scene 4: Angels discuss visit to shepherds
Alyssa: (pacing) how are we going to tell the shepherds the good news without scaring them.
Katelyn: I suggest appearing one at a time and not being too loud…
Ralyn: Maybe tell them not to be afraid
Emma: I suggest we all come in at once and flex our muscles, so they take us seriously.
Willow: Oh no
Aven: But they might think it is the end, and we have to wait until the baby is born anyway
Emma: I think these horns will work perfectly follow me
Alyssa: uuh oo
Scene Shepherds Visit Angels
Oscar: Now Royce, when you are making a fire you have to be careful not to put too much dried grass in it or the whole countryside will burn down
Royce: okay, how many handfuls do you think would be good a million?
Oscar: oh boy
Makayla: It makes me nervous this whole Oscar teaching Royce to make a fire
Jenna: I think they have it under control, but I will make sure the animals are okay.
Lyla: They need to be really careful I don’t think there is a shepherds insurance policy.
Oscar: All right Royce add that grass
All sheep: Baaaaa
(Angels appear) (Horns)
Shepherds: scream
Oscar: Royce!!!
Katelyn: Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. ( And no it’s not tax relief…………………… its better!)

Miss Alyssa: Don’t worry. This isn’t the end of times it is only the beginning of better times.

Mr. Steve: This child fulfills the prophesy in Numbers: I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.
Camel: Wait, is the star in the prophesy the one that we followed here?
Mr. Steve: Exsactly.
Mr. Ben: We came from the East,………………….. but the camel came from craigslist.
Camel: Hey
Mr. Ben: No, it is not time to eat. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Camel: I will have you know I have seen this baby not once but twice.
Mr. Ben: Well, anyway, here are some gifts we brought for the king.
Mrs. Shirley: We brought gold because he is a king, Frankincense for worship,………………… and Myrrh, well we panicked at the gift shop.
Oly: Myrrh is still a good birthday gift………..Right?
Camel: Don’t they use Myrrh for embalming?
Miss Shirley: Like I said we panicked at the gift shop.
Mary: Thank You!
Camel+ Donkey:
Donkey: What happened next…
Camel: Is for me to tell. I was there firsthand.
Donkey: No fair.
Camel: These wisemen planned this trip for a long time. Apparently, GPS is no good and a star was the way to go, but ah they read it a bit wrong. We ended up in Jerusalem with this really pompous guy who called himself king Herod. Herod gave me heebie jeebies; I didn’t want to tell him, but I think he was just replaced. He told us to tell him where this baby was, but I am glad the wiseman had a dream not to head back that way. That was a sigh of relief, and I hope I never see him again because I bet he would be real cross especially after we ghosted him.
Donkey: I am glad you ghosted him.
Emma: But the story doesn’t end here. “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” Around the age of thirty, he began his earthly ministry healing people and teaching, but his purpose for coming to earth had not yet been fulfilled. That purpose was to take the punishment for the sins of the world. He fulfilled that purpose by dying on the cross for your sins and my sins, no matter what they are. He has presented all of us with a free gift, that “whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” That gift is available to anyone that wants it, and Jesus rejoices every time a sinner repents and follows him. This is great news, so why don’t we…..(Go tell it on the mountain song)
